Happy St. Patrick's Day

Today Kaitlynn and I attended the MomsLikeMe.com playdate. It was held at Faust Park at the Carousel. There were over 300 people in attendance. Children's Hospital offered an activity for the kids - putting their handprints on a poem. Kaitlynn and I rode the carousel, but she didn't like it. The lady running the carousel suggested I sit on the horse with her. If someone had video taped me getting up on the horse with Kaitlynn while she was pulling at my shirt (almost exposing me), we would be millionaires!
Meeting some new moms and kids
Snack time
Some of our friends from one of the playgroups we are in on the site were there. We chatted with them for a while.
Watching as her friends ride the carousel
Trisha and Kylie also came.
After Trisha and Kylie came and rode the carousel, we went out to the playground. It was a beautiful day - 79 degrees!
Climbing on the older kids' playground
She didn't spend much at time at the little kids' playground
Climbing with Kylie
She's a tree hugger!
Feeding her baby snacks.
As soon as we got home, Maryam brought Hasnain over. Hasnain took about an hour nap during lunch. Kaitlynn took a nap after lunch. Then we played outside and enjoyed the nice weather.
They had fun playing in the yard. What a beautiful day for St. Patrick's Day!
Previous years, I have spent St. Patrick's Day in Dogtown at the parade, but I wouldn't trade that for getting to spend the day with Kaitlynn and our friends.

I don't remember having this warm of weather in March. I have to say, I am loving it.
