Christmas Eve

In the morning, Dave got his haircut (by Hanna) and ran some last minute Christmas Eve / Christmas errands. Later, we went to MawMaw's and started cooking dinner. Hanna, Adam, Denise and Brandon came over. We spent time with Jeff until he had to go to work.

Jim, Trina, Nate and Sis came over before dinner. We ate and exchanged gifts with Nate and Sissy.

We had an awesome Christmas Eve. The weather wasn't wonderful (wet and rainy), but we had a great time together.

Later that evening, Hanna colored and trimmed MawMaw's hair, cut my hair and painted my nails red and trimmed Kaitlynn's hair. She did a really good job! She's getting really good at cutting hair. Dave, Brandon and Kaitlynn played Wii golf. Kaitlynn did really good, too! She had a blast playing.

It's Finally Down

Sunday the 25th, after playing Wii Fit (of course), we finally took down the Christmas decorations. I know, I can't believe we left the decorations up that long. We were just really busy and hadn't had time to take them down. The house looks so nice and less crowded (almost empty) without the Christmas decorations up. I put the Valentine's Day decorations out. I like decorating for the holidays or seasons. It's a fun way to celebrate. And I get to showcase my Avon products.

Elmo's Green Thumb

Saturday the 24th Dave, Kaitlynn, my mom, Dave's mom and I went to see Elmo's Green Thumb. I got free tickets from MomsLikeMe.com. It wasn't an event we had to work at, so it was kind of nice.
My mom bought Kaitlynn a Zoe doll and the Elmo twirly thing.

Kaitlynn enjoyed the first part of the show. She danced and ate (nachos with cheese).
We had to get Kaitlynn an Elmo balloon, even though they were $10.

Kaitlynn didn't want to sit through the second part of the show. She is not a TV person and doesn't like to sit still for too long. I was just happy she watched the first part of the show. We stayed for the whole thing, but my mom took Kaitlynn out to walk around a few times.
Kathy bought this hat for Kaitlynn. It actually came in handy since I left her hat in the car.
Kaitlynn fell asleep as soon as we got to the car. We met Dave's brother and sister at T.G.I. Friday's for lunch. Kaitlynn slept through lunch too. She was a tired baby!
After lunch we all came back to the house, where Dave's brother entertained us while he played Wii Fit.
