She Lost Her Fight

My mom called this morning to tell us that my cousin Tina passed away. We don't know much at this point, except that she was at home. Tina was only in her 40's and way too young to die. Cancer doesn't care about your age. I thought she had more time, so I am still in shock. Cancer doesn't care about time. No one is guaranteed time. I just can't imagine how her husband and kids feel. The sorrow they are going through, but at the same time the peace of knowing that she is not going to be in pain anymore. Their 2 kids are between the ages of 17 and 20. No one should ever have to go through loosing a mom. I think it has to be sad and hard at any age.

Prayer Needed

My cousin Tina was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago, she went through chemo and things seemed to be fine. Well, a few months ago, she was diagnosed with bone cancer. She has been doing chemo, but now it is not working. They have been doing blood transfusions, but apparently her body isn't taking well to it. They are going to try one more transfusion and if her body doesn't take to it, there is nothing more they can do. Hospice has come in to talk to her. And if having cancer isn't bad enough, she also has the burden of no health insurance. Please pray for her, her husband and their 2 kids.

My aunt Tommy (real name is Mary) and my mom are really taking it hard. Tina is my aunt Tommy's daughter-in-law. Cancer is just a terrible thing. Cancer sucks!
